About
Ameesia Marold is a curator, creative producer, strategist, and writer based in Berlin. She is the co-founder of AUTOMATA, a gallery exhibiting artists working with autonomous systems, AI, and systems-based processes. AUTOMATA has presented exhibitions at Art Basel Switzerland and Paris Photo in 2025.
Previously, she was leading marketing and events at Bright Moments, where she produced over 30 exhibitions and cultural programming across ten cities worldwide, including New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, London, Tokyo, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Paris, and Venice (2021–2024). The program culminated in a 216-work auction at Christie’s that she led.
Her work spans across digital art, performance, painting, sculpture, and photography. She is a contributor to Right Click Save, has written for AI Art Magazine, and maintains a regular writing practice on Substack. Recent independent projects include artist management and exhibition production for artists Casey Spooner, Serkan Sarier, and Geoffrey Lillemon.
